starting 1jzgte swap, have question on bellhousing for automatic

Hey guys I'm starting my 1jzgte swap into my MKIII 91 Supra, i've viewed many postes and threads about getting the bellhousing for the manual trannies. I have a auto, and just had the thing rebuilt. Was looking for some info to see if the usdm 2jzgte auto bellhousing was the same as the 1jzgte and if not, should i try to accuire a 1jzgte bellhousing for a jdm site? what are you senior guys recommendations?

The 2jz one should bolt up. If not it should be pretty dang easy to find auto 1jz bellhousing around here.

The 1JZ-GTE A/T bellhousing is the same as the USDM 2JZ-GE A/T bellhousing.

The 2JZ-GTE A/T bellhousing has a different part number.

Ok very nice that helps out a lot theres a couple cars with 2jz-ge's in them in a local junk yard near here. Thanks that works beats buyin one from Thailand..lol
