Starcraft II single player video clips! Looks like nothing but win!

was a huge fan when it came out, but i was at the distinct disadvantage of being in South Korea where all the SC champions are born and raised. I want to get back into it, but first i need a new place to stay and a solid internet connection to go with it.

I've been keeping up with the updates and so far im impressed. Can't wait for the release!!

Haha! I know nothing about SC/SCII or the story, and I would feel out of place without heroes

Let's put it this way... SC original > WCIII.

But, lets say SC wasn't your thing because it was kind of like a less lazy version of WCIII... SCII will kinda be between the 2 with most of the basic SC principles behind it.

Hero's are only in the story... and it's not like it would take long to find a copy of SC1 and beat it quickly.

I somewhat disagree. I don't like zerg, but from my knowledge and years of playing the game I understand the nature of the game was to make everything balanced. I think it's all about how you play, not the race you use. Ling rush failed against me.

I'd like to play somebody sometime. Anybody up to it? Fastest 2 x 2 ?

Yeah it is, but they are the worst race in the game.
Statistically speaking unless you are some god at micro management, you will lose to someone with equal skill level. They just aren't as good as the terran and toss.
4 pool aka fastest ling rush was used once in WCG by Julyzerg. That tells you how "good" of a strategy it is. High risk, little reward, especially against the other 2 races, where scv's / probe micro management kills 6 zerglings fairly easily.

Brood Wars of course. God I haven't played SC original since before BW was out.

On a side note.. I went to my friends Engineering school to play some pool and some guys were playing LAN SC. I asked if I could join in ( with my friends laptop ) and I slaughtered. Good times.

eh got off around 11. Had to get to sleep so I could work today. But a played an epic game of Desert Strike although my partner was noobish. Lasted for about 2 hours
