loved both starcraft and the expansion. wonder what ever became of Starcraft Ghost? Can't wait for Starcraft II

i thought the idea of it was bad ass... +1 on SC Ghost for PSP... too bad it might not happen. Oh well.
Bah this game looks incredibly slow compared to sc... i knew it was going to happen when they went to 3d sprites. No unit stacking, no micro management usefulness (to a certain point, cause they move so damn slow). I will still get this, it just sucks that it's going to play like this in comparison to the 1st one.
More than likely on a revamped WC3 engine... which ran pretty fine.
Also keep in mind you were able to speed the game up in settings...

I feel the same way and unless you were a hardcore SC player most people don't find this annoying. When I mean most people, I mean my friends who spent more time playing WCIII. I constantly complained about no unit stacking, units having to actually have to turn around, and some of the super easy engine stuff that in SC would be considered a cheat. They constantly make fun of me for this but that's what SC was... and that's what made it harder to master.
I'm sure this will be a blast though... every Blizzard game besides WoW has been amazing. WoW is the devil.

it seems far more slow paced and noob friendly, as opposed to sc which was probably the best rts game ever made.
And yes i was a hardcore sc player. But i guess you have to adapt to the times, games aren't meant for just hardcore's no more, they have to appeal to the masses or they will fail.
Side note i still think this will be good.

If the lore interests you and you like MMOs, there is little reason to dislike WoW unless you are a baddie.
To be honest, I played Warcraft, WC 2 and the expansion, but never played WC3. I never really liked RTS games, but the lore was really interesting. THAT is why I preferred Warcraft to Starcraft.
That being said, for what it is, SC2 looks very good. If I loved RTS games I would be right there with you.
SC had a good storyline as well.

blizzard fixed the zerg rush in the later patches (slowed it down) and just like every blizzard game they become better with every patch that is released.
I was a die hard sc,dI,dII gamer but I have no interest with this game until it comes out. blizzard takes decades to perfect their games before they're ready for release.... its always worth the wait though.

Ling rush means you dedicate yourself to a poor economy from the beginning. If your rush fails... your at a huge huge disadvantage. Ling rush shouldn't get anyone period. I don't care if its a frickin 4 pool.
