So the wife and I were returning from the local choke and puke where we had breakfast and upon pulling into the driveway I found this hanging off my gay blue 87 parts car. We live in the country and these are not uncommon. It's a common ratsnake for those of you not from the South. It's not venomous, but still like to bite!
Apparently, he had a full belly and got stuck.

So now I'm rethinking the idea of getting underneath the car to remove the diff. Looks like I will have to wait until it gets colder outside.

Damn! Didn't think about that. I already tossed the carcass across the road into the bushes. I'm sure it was a small mouse or frog since they are running amuk around here.

Psh there are raddles around here by my house. Shoot we found a few small snakes when remodeling the back yard a year ago. I'd still be scared shit less even if it was not harmful. :eek3dance

Not that I need to defend my actions to you, but ratsnakes are very agressive and they do bite, and at the time I did think it was a copperhead. If you like, I can go get it's body and mail it to you for a proper burial. I'll even include some tissue for you.

Yea, rat snakes cause tons of injuries and fatalities a year. Their aggressiveness is akin to polar bears. I really don't care about some dumb snake, but taking pictures of the entire ordeal was pretty dumb.
