Welcome. Car looks good. Glad you got it running.

You need a new mechanic. Changing ALL the sensors is hardly sound advice and wiring the knock sensors together isn't advisable either. Scared to hook it up? That's absurd. You'd be better off skipping that guy and doing the work yourself with the help of the users here.

Post a pic of the knock sensor and I can get you the part #'s for the connector housing and pigtail.

Sigh, if you only knew the mess the mechanic did. The fat ass left hose's loose completely, not to mention the most important hose that goes to the turbo from the intercooler. They were literally Loose. The top vacum hoses were not even were they were suppose to be and he left a tons of lines unplugged. I could not belive I paid for an engine swap and ended up finishing the job myself. The dude said he was no electrician, so he decided to not plug in the sensor at all. The plugs on this car were the worst I have ever seen by far and he never even mentioned them. The car had plugs calibrated difrently and of difrent brands wtf?. And I think he jacked some parts from my poor lil supra cuz I know it had some things in the door not there no more. He just simply destroyed the inside looking for ecu. But I am slowly but surely getting the car back to the way it should be. Thanks a millions 2 blue and Derek aka 7Mg. Thanks for complimenting my sup :) can I see yours? Pwease :).

Check my build thread (link in sig). It's pretty much all go and no show right now. You can see the rest once it's painted :)

Seen 'Over the Hedge'?

The car is about 1/2 primer 1/2 black so it resembles a skunk. Plus the oil-blowing twins left quite a stink. Once painted, she will be the made-over version of Stella. The attitude is here to stay though :)

Hah well fix those hoses I told you too. I think a wise investment in the future would be a brand new engine harness or a used one in good condition. Get some bolt ons and let that Supra brethe. Get that frame damage fixed to, your supra looks sad with it

Hey guys, well im back after a few rough months of being a Supra owner. I am sorry to have left this thread forgotten but so many things came at me at once. 1st of all My HG went bad soo I spent about a month gathering things to repair it. The original Head was beyond repair and I had to get a new one. Thanks to a member here I was able to buy a New Head for my car and do the famous HG change. Not even 500 miles into the car with the HG change and I got RodKnock. Its been at the machine shop for a while now. Once again alot of things were beyond repair, Most actually. Crank went bad, Pistons went bad, and block needs to be bored out so I cant use Oem pistons. See the problem was I bought an engine that was rebuilt by some dumb ass who couldnt even put the mains in the right way so put them on backwards. The bill is over 240$ so its too late for another block unless I wanted to throw away 240$ bucks. The block is not cracked and will do. I am awaiting a new crank and a new oil pump from a member here. And it looks like the road is taking me towards Oversized Pistons... I still have to decide wht brand I want. After giving it thought, they will prob be the most expensive part of my build. Why go cheap now? Ima duck my head and try and ride the storm out. Well I will try and keep Yall updated with many more pics. For now here are some of when the Engine was pulled.

Did you already have it rebuilt or did it just come out the car?

Berely came out car, its in the shop now getting rebuilt. I give it maybe 2 more weeks before anything interesting happens. I am waiting for my crank, Oil Pump. I also need to buy my pistons, so far I am leaning towards Ross oversized. I already have my engine Gasket set soo hopefully things start to come toghether soon.

did some research salvy the Ross oversized pistons are actually .015 oversized. Make sure you borrow a torque plate before it gets bored.

Okay okay I promised to try and keep this thread up.... Well soo far, alot of of good has happened... I finally received my New Crank thanks to Ahme... And My new oem Oil Pump thanks to Ahme also lol... The stuff looks good and Crank was taken to the shop... Just a few days ago I was sold on cp pistons... I was ready to buy cp pistons when I had a 2nd idea..... Derek is using probe... Derek wouldnt use something that isint great or short of it soo Why not save 500$ and use it on crank work, New Oil Squirters, Oil soft line from drift motion... So now, come monday I will be ordering probe pistons... What once started as a humble oem rebuild is starting to transform into a greedy light performance yet consistent build. I will have pics asap when more things start to happen. Good News is this boat is starting to catch a nice wind and is starting to move again..
