People in my town always tell me to pull those hoses off too. I usually tell them no. Theres no reason why you cant run 7-8lbs by shimming the wastegate or getting a Dr.J MBC. You shouldn't be hitting FC at 8lbs anyways, dont cheap out. Get a MBC crank the boost up a bit and take the screw out of the AFM.
I ran 17 lbs on a 60-1 w/ my stock BPV hole on the accordian hose open. I felt a bit of detonation when the boost spiked to 19psi and that was enough.
Even with that unplugged i hit FC at 18lbs~. I plugged it all back up and i'm currently working on the afm screw mod.
Decent kills minus that SRT-4. I was keeping up w/ a stock SRT4 and i had full 3" exhaust and 10lbs on stock CT, so you should of at least stayed right behind him.
