I can not get my car to stop sputtering at idle. It pulls hard and runs great anything above idle. I bhave replaced the plugs, wire, rotor and cap. The rotor was kind of warped from heat causing it to be able to wiggle a couple degrees. Next I'm thinking valve springs or seat/seals. It has the original fuel system,no codes,no knock,no vacuum leaks(but I did replace dipstick gasket) and good compression. If anyone has experinced this I would love to hear how you fixed it!

Another thing that is bugging me lately is my oil pressure. Ever since I got it the oil pressure is perfect with 5w-30 penzzoil platnum synthetic. Its pegged at 40 durring start up, 20 at warm idle and 10 per 1k rpm. Lately it has been about 5 or psi less so i thought an oil change was needed but it didnt help. i even switched from a yota filter to a wix 55151 filter which is huge. if i start my car when warm it goes to 10psi with a 800 rpm idle, give it a slight blip and it goes back to 20psi then falls off 3-5 psi a minute later. im worried if a bearing is damaged or something. i do drive it hard every once in awhile but only when warmed up and i give it 30 seconds before taking off and shutdown.

If you want an accurate reading, you need to use a mechanical test gauge. The spec is very close to what you are reporting as a malfunction. And yes, a worn engine has lower pressure because the passageway between the crank and bearing is larger, reducing resistance which lower the reading of resistance called pressure.
