Well the symptoms pretty much came back... doesn't do it under acceleration... only does it when I'm coasting but I hold the gas steady. I got new NGK's on the way, along with new plug wires. Should be put in tonite and I'll up-date everyone...

How likely is it that the IC is cracked? The boost is really low, like 5psi. All the pipes are good. I got a new coupler for the 3000 pipe to TB with T-Bolt clamps, I suspect that might be leaking maybe.

A boost leak is not going to help!

The ground on the coil is is kinda like a drain or shielding...the operation of the coils can result in weak induction to the coil plate and induce noise in the primary circuit. The coils do not depend on the ground wire for operation, but does provide a path to ground in case of a fault in the coils. The coil plate is mounted on rubber grommets, hence the ground wire. (Thanks to JetJock for this one)

Alright I'll be changing plugs and wires today, and I'm going to look for a boost leak.

Last night I ended up on a semi-dirt road and had a little bit of fun. :] I was pulling 20-21Hg and like 1-2 psi after I left... so vacuums good... I don't understand the low boost though.

Plug gap, set it to .025, that fixed 5 other supras hesitation under boost around here.

I will try that too, but it's quite the opposite... it doesnt hesitate or sputter when I build boost anymore, it does it when I'm cruising and holding the gas down, but in the vacuum range.

Okay, I read around some more.. took everyones advice... and here's what I did today.

I changed the plugs to the BCPR6ES gapped to .028, I found a boost leak... while changing my plugs...and lowered the FP to EXACTLY 25psi.

Now this is FTL...

http://img277.imageshack.us/img277/5712/dsc05777df5.jpg before it completely exploded I figure it raptured and it wasn't visible... until last night when I tried to push 12psi, it finally blew completely.

Now I welded the hole shit so no more problems there.

Car runs like a CHAMP.. AS OF NOW... FOR NOW. lol

Thank you everyone.

Holy Schnikes! Lol, yep that will do it right there. Good thing it's welded now. BTW, I like what you did to the 3K pipe, very unique. Now just cut off the bottle neck part of the pipe and you're ready to go ;). Does it take a while for the Tial to activate at your (relatively) low psi?
