Coincidence. The only difference is the number is there on the 89+ vs. not on the pre89s. Some people mightve complained about the empty spot on their speedo

Interesting. So that would be cars made Sept/Oct 89+? I used 86.5 because thats the supposed first year of the MkIII, and 89.4/89.5 because somewhere in the year they changed, I just wasnt sure where.

Both are fully balanced yes, but counter-balanced means there is a balance to oppose the weight of the piston/rod, and we both know there was no weight to counter balance cylinders 2 and 5 on 6M cranks.
