yes, my car came with a lip in front, but it is now missing it (probably fell off a long time ago) I have been searching high and low for a new one, but have had absolutely NO luck...the stealership wants a little over $300 for it:aigo:

What's a good replacement hose without going to toyota. Mines cracked out real bad and needs to be replaced. It's working for now but not for much longer. I guess I should just go fipk. I refuse to believe I HAVE to get it from the "stealership".

Sorry didnt see this post before, but just go to pep boys, autozone, etc. and get some vacuum hoses. Most of them sell it in various sizes where you can cut it to length and get exactly what you need.

thats a good question ^ I just assumed it was vacuum hoses he was talking about since he talked about getting a FIPK to fix the problem. NA cars have an accordian hose, but it would not be replaced with the addition of the FIPK

i'm talking about the 45 degree black fitting coming straigh off of the y pipe. Someone sugested radiator hose but it isn't flexible enough.

it doesn't really matter. I have a feeling the car is running better now than it has in a long long time. I went driving around without my old lady and got to hear the high tones in my exhaust if you follow.

my hose was cracked too i put an alunium pipe on it to replace it and put a sillacone connector on it and brought it down to my maf i dont know just a sugestion

now I sound like I am sucking air or something and when parked in the drive way and you move the front wheels back and forth, they omit a moaning sound. I checked the power steering, it'way past fine. What else could it be??? thanks
