Whether or not it's entertainment to you, others that own the car that you are reading about care if the article is written correctly.

I meant to say, it "would be nice IF they asked" My car was covered a few times and it has been misquoted before. (you quoted before I got to change it..lol)

Just got a postcard from Sport Compact Car. It informed me that March 2009 will be the final issue of SCC. :nono:

That's a bummer. I remember my excitement the first time I read an SCC issue, waay back in 1992. First import performance mag i had ever ran across. I then subscribed for many years, only to lose interest when they got heavy into drifting and 240sx performance. Soon their content plummeted, even their ad space shrank, and I knew it was a matter of time, so i let my subscription expire. RIP SCC

I've been reading SCC on and off since 1997, 3 or 4 years before I even had my license. Great magazine, I loved their rally coverage and learned much from its pages.

Turbo isn't bad, but it's no SCC.

Grasroots motorsports will probably get my money from now on.

I also really like 0-60 but it's just a quarterly and doesn't really cover much sport compact stuff. Great reading, though.

I'll miss SCC, I had a feeling this was coming when a few years ago the mag was 350-400 pages and now (feb 2k9 issue) it's only 90.

All good things...

I have a subscription to Super Street.. It's more flashy than anything but they'll have some good tech every now and then. I like so see different cars and what people have done to them. I also like the hott chicks they put in every mag.

Plus it was only $20 for a 2 year subscription. :dunno:

All the car mags from Interlink Media just did the CastrolTop Shop engine building challenge and every one of them spent a ton on each engine.
