Just got a postcard from Sport Compact Car. It informed me that March 2009 will be the final issue of SCC. :nono: It says that they will run out my subscription with modified mag instead. IDK about you guys but im bummed to hear this news. SCC was my favorite mag.

I'm not a fan of these other mags, they seem to much like ricer type mags.

There are lies, damned lies and then the crap printed in car magazines.

Import mags are an order of magnitude worse... I speak from experience having these dipshits misquote me.

I had my last article quoted correctly from SCC but the other features were not. I hate when they misquote. :3d_frown: It would be nice if they asked you if everything was correct before they go for print.

Yea but SCC was pretty good about not blowing shit out of proportion or just making junk up.

Hmm how did they misquote you if they asked you if it was right before you printed it?
BTW I didn't read the articles to gain knowledge, its just a magazine...entertainment nothing more.

yeah i liked them but lets face it, u cant sell a mag that only covers honda and 240sx crap, they never had much in the way of interesting cars (Supra's soarers skylines, and rx7's)

Whether or not it's entertainment to you, others that own the car that you are reading about care if the article is written correctly.

I meant to say, it "would be nice IF they asked" My car was covered a few times and it has been misquoted before. (you quoted before I got to change it..lol)

That really sucks..... I've had a subscription to them since high school....:( So yeah, thats 4 of us, I suppose, lol. Well, at least they are running out the subscription with Modified Magazine as opposed to Import Tuner or something.
