Spontaneous leak

I drove my car yesterday for a while. No WOT, shifting between 3k and 4k rpm. I parked it around 4pm. Around 7pm I went out to make sure the doors were locked. Being a supra owner, I quickly scanned the ground under the car to check for leaks. All was clean. This morning, I drove my truck to work, again checking the ground for leaks before leaving. (It's a habit) All clean. After work today, I notice that I have developed a coolant leak. It seems to be dripping off of the bottom of the transmission. I am on my way to my dad's place to look it over.

Question: What would cause a leak to develop by itself? And what should I look at first?

Dude I JUST had this problem, most likely 1 of 3 hoses, either the 2 connected to your EGR plate ont he back of the head, or the coolant hose connected to the metal line behind the block.... Its a bitch to get off and fix but it is possible.

You'll have to point out these coolant lines running to the EGR plate to me.

It's probably a leak somewhere near the back of the motor. (duh)

You normally induce leaks on purpose? Normally (at least for me) they seem to start all by themselves, lol.

The one that has a soft, almost 90 degree bend towards the passenger side of the car? (Sorry, I don't have my camera here) I replaced that one a few months back. It is dry behind it.

It's nothing I can see from over head. And I don't have time right now to lift up the car and look underneath. Earlier, I did notice that the top of the tranny is wet.

hose on the driver's side that goes to the heater core (not the on that comes off the top of the head and goes to the passenger side)

^I replaced that one when I did the heater core a few months back. But I will take a closer look at it tomorrow.
