This is a little funny. I had just talked about how tight and reliable my new ct-26 was at 20 psi a week ago in another thread. After winning first place in the weekend bracket race at Quaker city raceway here in ohio, my turbo decided to whine about it. 2 years and almost 300 passes down the 1/4 mile and she finally gave in. Beat a couple mustangs, a srt-10 pick up, and a few muscle cars that day. Looks like its time for the pt61 to go on. Going to miss the little guy.

thought it was stock sized just a fresh rebuild...

Yes, stock size. It was a fresh rebuild with new wheels and shaft. Same turbo that pushed my car to a 12.61 without nitrous, and 11.95 with a 70 shot of nitrous. I am not going to rebuild it. I have a tial wasgate, a log manifold and a PT61 turbo that will go on in its place.

What is even more funny is, the turbo was gone already when I lined up in the semi-finals against a 12 sec 68' GTX. I changed my dial in from a 13.20 to a 16.50. I ran a 19.30 and still beat the GTX because he broke out with a 12.88 on a 12.90 dial in.
