speedo works, but not the trip odometer?

like the title says, my speedo works, and my main odometer works, but not the trip one... any body got some ideas for me?

Does it click while you're moving?

Try hitting the button a few times more, and pull out on it a bit and see if sets right.

the reset stick is probably pushed in a little too much, pull it out a little...

never thought about that... i have pushed it a few times. and no, theres no clicking what so ever.

i have the same problem but doing anything with the stick doesnt help at all. no clicking here either.

I've had this happen. I pulled the gauge and after a little searching I found something had broken between the two. I managed to fix it using parts from another donor that was broken in a different spot.

I can't remember the specifics, but there's a part which disconnects the trip odometer from the main odometer when you press the reset button... that fails and the two remain disconnected.

mine resets it, kinda... lol

cause i clicked it today, and it moved it, and pulling it out did nothing... might just pull the cluster and take a look and paint my needles too...
