Well,
I came across this sensor on driftmotion, and I'm wondering if this is really what it seems.

http://store.driftmotion.com/static/i-marlincrawlervssvehiclespeedsensor.php

So, you plug this up to the tranny, and what about to the gear in the dash.. and as for the wiring, has anybody done this before?

I searched and I can't find anything on it. It doesn't help that the search button won't let you use 3-letter words, haha.

Thanks for any help.

This would be for using an electric speedometer that can accept the 4 pulse signal as valid. Or if you for some reason wanted to not have any speedo, but retain the use of the cruise control.

The stock speedometer will not work with this installed.

Wiring is just like any other sensor: +, -, signal output. IIRC the correct plug can be bought new, but I don't remember where or what the PN was off hand.

Marlin Crawler sells that same sensor for the same price.
