I was wondering if anyone has tested this clutch on a 1jz yet? It looks really tempting but I have only seen people get them for the 7mgte motors so far. I just want a review before dropping close to 2g on a twin disk clutch. If you have any reviews and such it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

This is true but since the SPEC twin converts it to a push instead of a pull system (pretty sure most twins and so on do) plus it comes with a decent amount of new hardware. This is just one of the reasons I am considering it. It might be a while since I get it and something else might come along but I am piecing parts that are top priority for the car right now. The capacity the clutch holds might be a bit overkill but they dont have anything lower than 1100 by the looks on their site. I just want to put most of the stuff new in the car since it has been sitting for the past 2 years and not maintained properly by the previous owner. Just want to freshen it up and make it run like new. Aesthetics I can care less for now but motorwise that is more important.
so far the clutch has been great for me.mine does have a slight rattle(when clutch is pressed) ,which is normal for some twin plate's.there is a thick steel plate between the two disc's,which i suspect make's the noise.i haven't dropped the clutch or anything but it doesn't slip under boost.it does have a firm pedal,but really doesn't bother me at all.to me the thing drive's like it has a stock clutch and is very good in traffic.i'm very happy with it so far.this is bolted up to my 2j single with 4.10 rear and 275 meat's out back
