400>420 springs to mind but don't take it as gospel

flubyux2 said:oh, so what are we looking at in terms of a twin disc for the 7M... price, tq capacity and availability? i serioulsy doubt id need a full-on triple or quad disc since i dont expect to make over 800tq at any given point in life.
flubyux2 said:well, thats promising-ish. i mean, its gonna be more than what i want or need. i mean, itd be SWEET to build a 7M that actually needs a 1000tq capacity clutch to go anywhere but thats not something i have in my plans for the near future.
flubyux2 said:i dunno if that spec unit will be right for me, but i know that a single disc wouldnt ultimately be able to hold what my turbo can support. i know i told you about it over the phone a while back but its similar to your turbo but a little bigger

(I'm serious I've seen truck gearboxes that had smaller shafts and gears!)
I missed a shift badly and trashed the 3rd syncro, no matter how good/strong a box is it won't cope with driver error too often before it shits the bed.

I always keep something extra on the shelf
