I run a spec stage two. The clutch is stock like, with almost no added pedal pressure and no chatter. I have about 300 lb. feet of torque and it works fine. Breakin is critical, and I don't beat my car to death. You will get various opinons on this clutch. For lower power levels, I say thumbs up.

I have a stage 2. It's always had some problem with a popping/snapping noise when you are moving the clutch pedal. I haven't been able to locate the problem and it doesn't effect performance...

In short, I'd be willing to recommend them.

I think he's saying that if you're making too much power for the stage three to hold then the tranny isn't going to be able to hold it either for an extended amount of time...................:dunno:

Correct, as it is generally accepted that the W58 won't last much past ~400ft/lbs. for very long. So if you exceed the clutch you have probably exceeded the capability's of the tranny and it is on it's way out.

thanks, i completely forgot about that, well i dont have the funds for another tranny right now, so i guess, ill just have to see how it goes and be saving $$ during the process for the R154.

so is the spec clutch in the link provided a good choice then?
