even if rx7's did have an lsd, and come with a donut as a spare, i still wouldnt recommend putting it in the back. Since the tire is smaller, the right rear and left rear turn at different speeds, causing the spider gears to be doing constant work. The clutches in the lsd try to keep the spider gears in sync, but let them slip to an extent.

The spiders arent designed to be moving all the time, just on turns and curves and such. The spider gears, thus the clutches, being active the whole time you're driving will not only burn up the clutches in the LSD but heat up the spider gears alot which is a means for damage and possible seizure.
