Be advised the Autolite 3923 plugs are 1/8" shorter than stock length on the ceramic side. Some folks have experienced a light misfire at low rpm (I did) due to the plug wire boots not fully seating on the plug. It causes arcing.

i have whatever came from the factory with the platinum Denso's or NGK's or whatever and oem toyota wires, I don't think that ngk wires and v-power plugs would make any difference, but when i install my msd, I might as well get a set of v-powers so i can set the larger gap for the msd, Would i be fine just leaving the oem plugs with 600miles on them and just installing the msd ignition?

I grabbed some autolites the other day but they weren't 3923's. (since I've got damn near 30,000 miles on my iridiums) I just took what the guy at the parts counter gave me for a 7mgte. What's the big deal with the "3923's". My cars runnin fine with the ones I just put in.

p.s. I measured the ngk iridiums that came out and the autolites that I put in with a dial caliper and they were almost the same size.

I have a question about spark plug gap.

For a stock 7MGTE NGK copper, what gap should be used.
and what gap for higher boost... like 12psi.

.32? .30?

Thanks

Anyone on Denso Iridium Power yet? Apparently they have recently been released and are claimed to provide superior spark to conventional iridiums (at the expense of plug life)

Well, I changed my plugs among other numerous tune ups this weekend. I went with the 3923s (I was running NGK coppers prior), and noticed they were shorter. I'm getting the misfire (around 300-600RPM, when I was doing consistent 700-800s with the NGK), and when I downshift coming to a stop, or go in neutral my RPM drop too low and the car cuts off. :( Under load they do fine, but looks like tomorrow I will be buying another set of NGKs and throwing them in before work.
