ran a search, couldnt find what i was looking for.

what spark plugs would anyone recommend. i know that ngk coppers and iridiums seem popular, but how are the autolites compared to these?

and does anyone know the plug number for the NA?

I have run both Denso Iridiums and Now NGK Iridiums in my 7M-GTE @ 10psi and some fairly rough driving sometimes, The NGK are a lot smoother than when I ran denso, the denos were ok but only lasted 2 years, I also use the MSD super conducter wires as well which seem tio work very well, the idiot who installed my jdm 7m was a moron and back then I had little engine knowledge to do it myself, he had autolites in there I found out this because 3 mos later I was missing and thats when I got my denso anfd now I got my NGK no turning back now.

Go to sparkplugs.com and do a search for your year and model, and all the plugs with numbers will come up. Then all you need to do is buy what you want either locally of from them.

i think the rule of thumb was a level cooler for each bpu level or somethin like that.

I am running on a GE block and wanna go with cooler plugs, I dont care if I have to replace the plugs every year from fouling but I need detonation prevention more then the GTE users. What do I tell the auto store that I need for plugs? How much cooler can I go and how much will it help with knock? THX!

ps: dont mean to steal the thread but its been dead

+1 Mine definetly runs smoother... but anything would be smoother than the plugs my car came with... they were so horrible.

I always go with NGK V-Power, You will see a big running difference if your plugs were screwed up in some way ie.. Old, or fouled. They are like $7 for 6 of them at O'Reilly Auto Parts. I hope that helped unless u already swaped them out with something else... Since this thread is OLD AS HELL! as i just realized.
