As the title says. Im running 15psi on stock 440s with a lex afm. SAFC2. aero afpr.wallbro255. It sounds like faint spark plug blowout, or could it be detenation? My plugs are NGK 4644's. Gapped at .028" my timing is 12degrees. It only seems to do it around 4000 rpms+ my AFRs go rich when it happens. Im gonna pull my plugs now and check if they are fouled up.

Should i just put my timing back at 10 degrees and what should i gap my plugs at?

greatly appreciated,
Michael

The timing being off 2 degrees would not make that happen. I hate to say it, but sounds like detenation. Might have to move up to the 550's. Try lowering your boost down and if it stops, you know that's the problem

how rich is it going? it might just be a hiccup from being too rich. if you're on a stock turbo at 15psi i highly doubt that you need to upgrade injectors. have you tried taking out fuel in that area from the afc?

PS- If you drop the boost, it'll lower the chances of detonation AND spark blowout, so it's NOT a decisive indicator of detonation or not.
I doubt you're detonating at 15psi on a stock turbo. Also- make sure you have no shorting of your plug wires to ground. This has happened to me a few times,
and once you go into boost, the spark prefers to ground to the head, rather than the plug.
