Weight in the rear is your friend!

That being said, I believe the space saver from the MKII may fit. If you save weight back there, you should re-locate something from the front to the extra room you create. Put your battery back there, or get a 5 gallon fuel cell, and ditch the big heavy tank.

They're hard to find but if you come across a spare from an FD RX-7 (that's the '93-'95), grab it.

The MKII spare is full size (at least it is on my bro's), and the wheels are tiny, so I doubt it would clear the brakes.

Not to mention they're 4 lug!

Yes, the RX-7 spare is a good find, but you're messing up your weight balance :D
