has anybody used the SP 780cc injectors. They're $55 each. it's cheaper than getting RC 550cc

SP 780cc Injectors

Theses fuel injectors are flow checked, individually scribed, hand selected and then carefully matched to within 1% of each other for optimum performance in your vehicle. All horsepower ratings are calculated at 90% duty cycle at 43.5 psi upon a BFSC of .50. Compatible with all known aftermarket drivers.

What kind of power goals are you shoot for? If it's a little more than 500 HP (but no more than 575) I'd go with the 6xx cc injectors as they will not be as hard to tune as the 780's ;).

bingo. no point in GROSSLY oversizing inj....unless you're running standalone.

would these injectors be overkill if you pushing a tru T4? i am loving the price could you post a link for them?

heh. yet again, a "tru T4" can be anything from puny to HUGE.....that's like saying you drive a car. yes, what WHAT kind of car? WHAT T4 are you going to be running?

The injector will pump out as much fuel for the HP they are rated for. A good rule of thumb is 1cc per 1HP of fuel with like 20% fuel flow capability left in the injector ;).

Exactly what I was thinking, but I thought I'd be polite and just answer the question ;).

here's the link to all the injectors SP offers

i am shooting for about 600 rwhp... i just don't want to keep the 550's running at high duty the whole time. i do know that getting too big injectors isn't good either as they will not give a good flow of fuel at lower rpm's when i'm not demanding power.
so you guys think somewhere in the 600's is good for roughly 600 hp?

yup, something over 600cc should be fine for 600rwhp.

hey thanks for the links. right now i'm trying to get ron's FFIM. next is a new engine harness, then pistons and rods and THEN injectors. gives me plenty of time to think about what to get.
