son of a *%^&$ injector is leaking...

My three month old lucas based "high quality" injectors are garbage....I've been running them for two months now....and one of them started leaking BAD... I'm talking when I crank the car, dead miss on one cylinder for thirty seconds and black smoke EVERYWHERE.....a huge cloud! Its cylinder number 1..... This is GAY! I wonder if they will make good on it.... It was bought from a reputable shop on here that only deals in supras....but I won't post the name unless they refuse to do anything about it.... Then I'm gonna let everyone know... I will also post if they replace and give them some praise.

What do you guys think is gonna happen... I payed a lot of money for these injectors, and they were bought Aug 10 of 2005.... They did not arrive here until about aug 17.... Think they are going to make it good?

I dunno if you have done this yet but take the rail off and look at the rubber gasket piece that you slide on there is not cracked or something. It may be that it has wobbled out of the hole if they were not put in correctly.

why would that make the injector leak INTO the cylinder?

called them today....they told me to call precision turbo, who in turn explained to me that the retailer is to handle warranty claims. Who is giving me the run around? PT says they don't deal directly with the end user.

oh yes, and the retailer said he was going to call me back when he got more info. Not only did that not happen.....but they did not answer the phone for the rest of the day... Wonder if they got caller ID...
