So quite possibly while setting my boost controller tonight i think I blew another HG. Basically i have some small amounts of stem coming out of the exhaust no overheating no coolant loss however a couple times it started sounding like a damn subaru then once I accelerate it would be normal again. My car usually idles around 900-1000ish with everything set to the proper locations. Tonight after one hit on fuel cut it started actin like a subaru at idle then it starts idling at 600-800ish. Plugs are new maybe 1000 miles on em new wires 600 on them fresh oil change, I mean the works nothing should have happened but low and behold I think it popped. Any ideas??? Thanks for the help again all.:1zhelp::3d_frown:

I know it was mine I just had to say it it made me feel better. It was 110% my fault. Its the boost controller i was using plus the fact that im running NA compression plus boost. The controller i have failed tonight which caused me to over boost and hit fuel cut. Whcih i think i ended up detonating when that happened. Which was the cause of my headgasket failing.

Ok all here it is I over boosted and hit fuel cut. But the motor has been blowin oil smoke since i did the swap. Plus my compression test told me everything. Cylinders 2, 4, and 5 have no compression at all. Block test shows no presence of combustion gases present in the cooling system. And there is no oil/ coolant mixture. I also have a slightly spun bearing on number 3. #3 has 34 psi of compression and #6 has 84 psi of compression. Also i broke 2 valve springs. So low and behold motor is toast. A local used engines and trans place called AtTarco can get me a long block for $950+tax and $100 dollar core. New rings, new main and rod bearings, refurbished head new headgasket, the works. Everything from there is on me to put into it and the swap.
