Tanya, You better plan a stop in South Alabama on your way through. You can drive mine........just bring me a shirt or two:biglaugh:

I'm planning on getting you to send me a couple of more shirts before Chicago anyway.

I don't really live "in the country". We're about 10 miles from Tacoma, in a rather suburban area. I do not consider myself "granola" in anyway, especially since I was not born and raised here.

Thanks for the trust Kyle, LOL

How could you not like Washington?... No tornados, no smog, no hurricanes, no fires, politics are nearly evenly moderate.

We just get rain 364 days a year... not that I like nice weather... I don't like to go outside and do anything, infact I don't have a garage so that I can not work on my cars when it rains... I enjoy washing my car then having it rain 3 hours later. I especially like all the tree sapp and cherries that ends up on my car everyday when I drive to work...

Yep, Washington is great.

i'm bad, i'm nationwide
move to texas, sun 397 days a year, it almost never rains(despite what you have seen in the news lately), it is always nice and warm(in that 100 degree sort of way)

people are pretty evenly moderate(between right, and far right), and you dont need no stinkin garage, just blast away at the dude tring to make off with your toolbox(da will reload your gun for you)

and that tornado thing? well it hit 10 miles north of town, i only lost a shop door, so it's not that bad, is it?(although the townspeople in that town might have some slight disagreement with that one)

I'm just referring to the hundreds of idiots you have to deal with in FL on a day to day basis. 4'9" 90 year old grandmas driving Escalades, coming damn near close to plowing into everyone and everything on the road and shit like that.

And wtf does the granola comment mean?? lolol

Haha, that's the best part about living here. Crazy old people swerving in and out of lanes, running stop lights and stop signs and barrel assing through parking lots keep you on your toes!

I let this girl drive my car once, because i was too tired to drive, and she drives a civic, like all good girls should, shes used to mashing the throttle to get anywhere.

The second she hit boost she was like, "Kyle, im not driving this thing anymore omg."

Heh... well I would have boosted if #1 it wasn't raining and #2 if it was a good friend of mine who owned it.

I don't feel like being responsible for fixing the thing because I dont know what to expect. Even though the car is automatic, I don't need the ass end sliding out and hitting someone else.

I don't even like to drive MY car in the rain like an asshole, nevermind someone else's

You can boost in the rain. :) I did this morning. It's fun. Just remember to let off when the car starts turning without any steering input. :]

When I boost in the rain, I'd still rather it be in MY car than anyone elses.

A friend of mine wrecked my '84 Celica GTS years ago, it was in the rain, and our friendship ended there and I was never reimbursed for my loss. The car didn't even get towed like it was supposed to, and got impounded and was probably crushed.

I won't ever forget that incident and how much I wanted to kill my "friend".

Well, I wouldn't let anyone drive my car that I didn't think was qualified to handle it. None of my non-Supra owning friends would ever get my keys. Especially when I put my turbo kit back on and will be expecting over 400hp... No fucking way. Not happening. My friends that have Supras with some power, sure. Why not? If they break something, they'll pay for it or help fix it at least.

I don't have an issue with letting someone drive my car if I know they can handle it and they're a close friend. Most of the time, I'll say no anyway.

I'm not really fond of driving other people's cars either, so I can understand that. But that's because I just don't feel the urge to drive someone else's car. I like driving mine enough. I like getting rides in other cars though.

One time, I was shooting a short film with some friends for one of their film classes. I wasn't the main character but my friend, the director/writer, wanted the main character to drive my car because it's cooler looking and faster(obviously:)). We got into an arguement 'cause there was no way I was gonna let him drive my car, period. And we weren't going to rewrite the script to make me the main character and I didn't want to be anyway.

My girlfriend keeps trying to drive my car, and she's only driven a ford tauraus.. i've been telling her no since day one. hehe.

Btw driving in the rain is the best! Spinning the tires from 1st-3rd doing 15 mph lol.

Not my car to boost, especially in the rain. I'm an incredibly nervous driver when it comes to other peoples cars. If I wreck it, I'm screwed. I'd rather be safe than sorry :)

With that attitude you can drive my car anytime . I borrowed my friend Marc's GTR yesterday and I was scared shitless . Barely got into boost maybe hit 1.0 bar
