Ok today i replaced my factory boost gauge with an autometer (just bored out a hole for fitment). now the damn computer is throwing a 32 code(Mass Air sensor) and a 52 code(Knock sensor), is it beacause i disconneted the factory setup or what. Someone out there has had to have done this before any help is appreciated guys, thanks.

yes i just pulled some of the flexible circut board back, which i do believe will render the check charging system light useless but o well and i drilled a few holes in the plastic to get to get it to mount nice and snug, and i unhoked completly, two wires that where on top of the gauge.:naughty:BorHor said:

Those 2 codes shouldn't have anything to do with the gauge, unless they were being thrown prior to this...
As for that, you may want to consider rubbing tiger balm all over your body after possible bannage. Your eyelids are included.

Oh man you didnt touch the flexable circut board did you ? Crap I hope not the oils in your hand Fries the delicate Filiment that toyota used to make the circuts if you touched it in any way you whole guage cluster is fucked it is just going to throw codes all the time . just sorta random ones never going to be right unless you get a new cluster . should have worn latex gloves .....

thats why im asking for driveability issues. if the car runs fine then at least hell be able to make his trip and can fix the problem later when he has more time. but if there is some issue that is interfearing with the driveability that should be addressed to prevent another falilur.
