Damn! There is a blue dark blue 87-88T? on the side of I5 north bound up the hill from South Center Mall. I just passed on the way into work. Didn't see any occupants and the head lights were flipped up. I saw it at the last second, because of a 18-wheeler, and didn't scope wheels or exhaust.
This was at 2:30PM.

I pull the EFI fuse every time I get out of the car

That works too.

There's TONS of ways to disable your supra. You have to use your brain and think hard of a unique way to keep theives from stealing your car. They do this all the time, and if you don't think hard enough and come up with a good enough idea then you'll be the next one posting a thread about your car being stolen.

My car was stolen also, luckily my best friend found the car and the crooks within 48 hours still in town, and we got my car back. 3 people arrested.

Good luck with the search, if you ever want to see your car again you better go look for it, the cops won't do anything but add your plate # to the list of stolen cars.

I have no idea. Try Sea-Tac police and/or King County police. I'll be driving by it again Monday and will check the plate if it's still there.

no need, thank you though. the police found it out driving in everett and got in a chase. but i got it back with only a broken windshield, so i'm very relieved.

no clue if they eventually caught the guys, i'm assuming they did because who escapes a K9 search? hahaha

yeah apparently they had stolen some license plates off another supra, but the plates they took expired in '05 so they just slapped my tabs on top of them. so when the cop was behind them on the street and ran the plates and saw that they were expired but had good tabs he turned on the lights and they just took off. they actually got away from him with boost cut, but they found them down a side street a couple minutes later so they bailed and ran on foot.

in their hurry to leave my car they were nice enough to leave me $60 and a bunch of other junk though. only damage to the car is the dent on the bottom of the RS*R from my driveway and the cracked windshield (they ripped my rearview mirror off and threw it in the backseat... wtf??)

as for what i'm doing with the car... thats classified information... =)

It's not that easy to get to which is why I'm kinda confused....

When I did my swap I relocated it there for ease of disabling.

To the OP.

I am super glad that you got the supra back in one piece. Make sure to do a compression and leakdown test to garuntee that it is in tip top shape, and that the people that stole it foot the bill for them and any possible repairs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't vehicles that are reported stolen automatically recieve Salvage titles? Glad to hear you got your car back, time to get Lo-Jack.

Adam

I don't know about Salvage title, but I think they do get a note on it. However i went to get new plates and there are no new notes on my registration, just previous damage from the original owner in CA.
