SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!

hydrofan water pump sounds bad most definatly!
which way is the thermastat supposed to face with spring towards bottom or top ?

i think the spring is supposed to be towards the top. with the littel plunger on the bottome of it seated in the top part.

i dont see how it could be if it spins with the pulley. im gonna put some pressure on it with a screw driver or something tonight and see if its stripped....

the tstat is supposed to mount with the spring towards the engine side

well i got it solved...

i took the old 1JZ tstat gutted it and put the water neck back on, flowed a hose thru it and no blockage in the engine whatsoever. so i got excited. i eliminated one thing......

so now it was down to the pump. i filled it with water turned it on and it was flowing like the grand rapids!!!! WOOOO HOOOO. so either the new tstat i got was faulty from the manufacturer OR the guy at the counter gave me the wrong one....

BUT ITS FIXED!!!!!
