Ive been to a few racing forum sites in the past 3-4 weeks. And constantly I always see some ass holes saying that MKIII's are not real Supra's :3d_frown: . Can someone please tell me why people think this. Or if it is true. I am new to the whole Supra thing and I love my car. It pisses me off when people talk shit about our cars. Please shed some light on this subject for me...Thanks guys :nono:

STL, I've been in love with MKIIIs since my first ride in one, back in 88'... I purchased my first on, an 86.5NA about 4 years ago... Im now on my third, this one's a turbo 5sp :love: I've heard so many people disrespecting the MKIII because it's NOT an MKIV, and that's irritating...

I think the bottom line is, our cars are not as popular, so we dont get the media and attention the MKIV and other high end imports do... So people simply dont KNOW the capabilities of this car as a platform... That, alone, is fine with me... I love to suprise people... and I love knowing the secret of the MKIII... I also love the fact that there are guys all over turning stock high 14 second 3600 pound MKIIIs into 10 second street missles... My goal is to keep my car complete, totally complete, and still hit 11s... So I can say I have a luxury sports car that has ALL these cool amenities, and STILL can hit 11 seconds... And STILL be a daily driver, er, a weekend driver :icon_bigg

and not that it makes much differance but there is a white mkiii in f&f, second scene when everyone is running to their cars. and i know knowing that is alittle wierd.
