I just follow this rule of thumb - Everyone is trying to and wants to annihilate you. If you think like that, youll never get into a crash :) I learned this from a guy whose been riding motorcylcles in NJ for 15 years. He knows his stuff lol. Hes only crashed once the whole time, And NJ is one of the worst places for a motorcycle!

Things like this happen to me all the time, Joe...

Just today a dumb old guy almost change lanes into me on the freeway...I had to slam on my brakes and swerve, I guess he didn't see me cruising right next to him? :dunno:

That happens when you cruise right in someone's BLIND SPOT :3d_frown:

Are you saying it's Johnathan's fault that he almost got hit or are you guys friends and you're just teasing him?...............:dunno:

If you're not teasing then that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. It's not Johnathans fault the man doesn't look over to check the other lane. You're going to be in everyones blind spot at one point, but it's not your job to check for them. You've just got to be aware of everyone around you and hope that they do the same.

If you are teasing then, yeah what a dumbass Johnathan. Don't you know not to cruise in someone's blindspot..............:biglaugh:

OH MY GAD the cars in the movie disentegrated!! the first two just crunched like little tin can's under some 250lb man's foot! of course, that first car was really tiny..... but still!! i guess for an instant the cars in front would have acted like a wall though... so it doesnt actually suprise me too much. i havent ever seen a car flattened completely before on the road with other cars though so its kinda scary. usually you'd see that happen with a train or something...

Always assume the car in front of you is at some point going to cut you off, then you place yourself far enough back that you're prepared for it. If you don't put yourself in a situation where it'll most likely happen, then you most likely won't have that problem.

I find it hard to believe this happens to Jon all the time, as he himself put it, without him placing himself in that situation. No... I don't believe every driver out there is out to get Jon to the point this happens to him all the time.
