Ok, so I was on my way to work in the morning.
I get off at my freeway exit and there's a traffic light at the end. You can make a left or a right, no straight. The light is green and the cars start making a left in line like normal. When I get into the intersection making a left like everyone else in line, a look over to the right and some ass in a semi-truck runs right through his red light at full speed!:nono::3d_frown:
Lucky for me and the other cars in the intersection making their turn, he was in the right lane and of course the left hand turn goes to the left lane(at least you're supposed to). Had I or someone else tried to be impatient and make a left into the right lane, they would have been either Tboned or rear ended at at least 50mph by a semi-truck.
Afterwards, I analyzed what had just happened and concluded the glare from the sun was so bad it blocked out the truck driver's vision of the streetlight. If so, what the hell was he thinking charging into an intersection at full speed if he couldn't see if he had a green light or not? If he was in the left lane moving at that speed, someone's car(and probably them) would have been wrecked pretty bad.
Supras are tough but I don't know how well it would have held up to a huge mass like a semi-truck with a trailer...:nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:
