Somebody please save this shaved supra from impending death!

Was cruising car-part.com looking for some hatch glass when I stumbled on this: A 1991 Turbo 5 spd Targa with shaved side moldings. I don't spend a lot of time here anymore, but 5 years ago people would kill for this, and now it's junkyard fodder. WTF guys?

Very sad indeed. I wonder what made that owner junk it instead of trying to sell it. That shaved trim does look clean but I still feel like it missing something.

it looks like the bodywork was done well. hell it'd be worth sinking a few grand into imo

It probably was the motor. I wonder if those are JDM taillights as the center section looks lighter then the rest of the lights.
