once again another late start for me, thought I would share some pics of my progress so far. I have removed 200lbs including the weight of the roll bar, getting the AEM sensors wired in, still have to put Interior back together, get running and then Tuned. With the weight reduction and some more HP I hope to get into the high 10sec range. I have only used the NOS for turbo spool, but if I dont get the 10, I'll just spray the sucker all the way
Last year best time was 11.81 @ 117 Car was capable of a 11.5-11.6 but just couldn't get a complete perfect run in.

Looks hot dude. I'm taking u ran the 11's without standalone

stock ECU, with the MAFT, GM mass air sensor. could never get the tune right:3d_frown: either way too rich or would lean out at upper RPMs

The outside of the car looks like a magazine shot from the early 90's.

you can never see it in the pics, but it was painted with a blue tinted pearl.

Yeah dude, MOD list! lol...

I had the same problem with the VPC set up I had... I'd either be really rich or really lean... We couldnt get that medium when trying to go over 23 pounds of boost... That's one reason Im going with an AEM too...

Thats awesome! Looks good... Can you gimme an idea of what you did with your head?

Seat isn't as bad as I thought it would be, prob gonna add some foam to the back, but he butt part has about 3" of padding

this is last year, still have some stuff apart. will take new ones when it is complete.

Nice work on the cage is there any reason it didn't continue down to the rear rails to tie them in?
since the rear suspension is all under the strut towers, I guess I didn't see the need. If it was a leaf spring car, it would have been. can always do it later if the need arises.

SA-weet. is that the hpf turbo kit?? what size? are you gonna leave the interior stripped? good luck.
The interior is going back in.

Yeah dude, MOD list! lol...

I come from a land down under
Was just thinking it would increase torsional ridgidity quite a bit but didn't know if you had a specific reason to do it the way it's done!

Very nice cage :)!
(something I've been thinking of doing here)

IJ, I checked out your buildup pics, nice work:icon_bigg

Who "hard welded" your cams? and what specs did you use? been seriously considering doing that.

Thanks :)!

I had one of the local Cam shops here in Australia do them.

I went a little conservative as I wasn't sure how drivable it was going to be with the low compression and didn't want to kill off too much low end!
