So a co worker is selling his entire set up off of his 2003 Mach1, so I said Id take it, it comes with WOT switch, 50 shot nozzle up to a 200 shot nozzle... I was wondering if a 50 shot was safe for my car and whats the highest before the car basically kills itself from that much?

Im NOT a fan of Nos but its a killer deal and Im getting a GTE sometime this summer so I figured why not have some fun with it.

Try closing the gaps down to 25 thou for starters and make sure it's all 100% ie: good leads Rotor and Cap

Who manufactured the kit? What is the delivery system for the nitrous and fuel? A single nozzle? I take it the mach 1 is a Mustang? Are you sure it is not a plate system? Also, you will be missing a few adaptors for the fuel system. Most fords use a fitting that threads into the shrader valve hole and your supra will need a tee fitting. The manufacturer is a concern, because a 100 shot from one company is not the same as a 100 shot from another.

mustang kits are usually dry, 1 nozzle kits that raise your stock fuel pressure, actually dead heads it... not a bad kit but I wouldn't put it on your na. go for a single nozzle wet kit, those run better.

i tried that dry mustang kit on my integra, ran very nice but the wet kit performed much better.

50 would be safe I would bet, and the first thing to go will be your clutch lol. nitrous hits very hard.

Forgot to add you'll need "2 bottles 2 of the big ones Harry" ;)
Thanks guys, when he was taking it off this is wht I noticed...

Steel braided single line from trunk where the bottle was up to intake that was tapped into with a T fitting that was shaped like a V.

Im running rich right now as it is so well see. For the price Im getting it for with a half full bottle I really just wanna do it once or twice to feel what its like, Ive never EVER driven with nitrous before. Ill ask what kit it is tomrrow and get more information.

and yeah, clutch...Ive put that poor bastard through fuckin hell before, esp when that IS300 and I had that run in... yeah... Im amazed its not gone yet.

ok now THATS funny!!!!!! i ran nitrous and still am currently. 75 dry shot through the intake pipe. upped fuel pressure via a AFPR the kit im using is off a 5.0 and i had no problems with it so far. im still good motor is solid except for valve seals on a couple valves the rest of the car is holding well and ive seen some spectacular results. especially when you purge next to a car that thinks its hot shit and then you dont even go........... stupid honduhs............

If I was in the car when someone purged and then didn't race I'd probably not stop laughing for a good four minutes

if it looks like a V, then that is most likely a wet kit. Are there two separate lines going into the V thing?

BTW, the V thing is called a Fogger. LOL

One nice thing about a wet kit, and that it makes the inside of your intake manifold, SPOTLESS!!! You can actually feel increase in power, if you have a dirty, oily manifold. You won't get the same cleaning action with a dry kit.

I actually want to install a wet kit on my car just to clean everything out. Install the fogger before the intercooler LOL.
