You'd be better off carrying a brick for all the good that does you...

He could have been saying;America's number 1!, or some shit like that.
the simple fact that you flipped him off for no reason other than brake checking you kinda puts you at fault. society is full of assholes, from those who high kick fenders,to those who stand on soap boxes and scream they are right all the time.
you have to pick your battles

Supracentral;1396869 said:That's nice. I don't say this to embarrass you, I say it simply to dispel some very childish bullshit you're spreading.
If you had any level of tactical training, you'd realize that most gunfights occur at ranges of less than 20 feet and the average reaction time is .22 seconds to draw from an exposed holster.
A man with a knife can run a minimum of 21 feet and stab you in the time it takes to react, draw and shoot from an exposed holster.
This is why people who are trained focus on situational awareness and have a firearm drawn well before there is an overt threat. Police departments train this as well. They like dead cops about as much as I like macho bullshit when it comes to firearms.
I hate to tell you, but by the time you think about getting your gun out of it's cute little storage box and loading it, you blood will be congealing on the sidewalk. Do yourself a favor, just run, your boxed up firearm isn't a real option.
Stop watching television, the real world is going to put a hurt on your ass if you keep living in that fantasy.
And I hope for the sake of everyone around you that you understand the spread on .410 shot on those things is larger than man size beyond 8 feet - that gun has a lot of hype and gimmick surrounding it - but to be a defensive weapon it needs to be loaded with .45's. Skip the .410 shotshell bullshit and it's halfway decent self defense piece. Personally I'll stick with my .45 auto...
Not to mention Illinois Nazis... I hate Illinois Nazis....

d4nkman;1396903 said:also i've found that the .410 slugs tend to do more damage than the .45 colt at close range.
d4nkman;1396903 said:i think you have my situation confused with a duel or something. either way everything worked out fine...nobody died, was hurt, or went to jail and i'm ok with that
IJ.;1396983 said:In all seriousness DON'T point a gun at someone unless you're willing to take their life and face the consequences of that action.
blanks, shooting to wound it's all bullshit.
d4nkman;1396823 said:hell yeah i could identify what he gestured at me. the sun was at my back and i could see him perfectly in his rearview. he for sure flipped me off too, before i flipped him off and he was yelling something. the point is i know how to choose my battles and i think i made the right choice to drive away.
i'm not exactly a violent person but if the need arises i can and will defend myself and my property, it's a right given to me by the great state of illinois, the real illinois not chicago land.
in fact i wasn't really pissed off until he kicked my baby, if he hadn't have gotten out of his car we would have both forgotten all about it by now.
i see where you're coming from though, i would have been happy to get flipped off but i reacted harshly and got my car scuffed/dented.
