Some fun against a Built & Boosted Civic Hatch

The other night, me and some friends decided to have some fun on an open interstate.
We were in a parking lot full of about 75 "car enthuiasts"...
When someone called out the fastest car there being a built turbo EG hatch Civic.

With my new Lipp Boss setup and my car feeling strong, I decided to give him a run for his money.

Video is short, but you get the point.

We went from a 40 roll, I was in 2nd.
You can't really hear it, but in the middle of 3rd gear, I hit fuel cut and had to shift immediately.

All in all, it was a lot of fun!
That little Civic was really impressive...but what can you expect for a 2000lb boosted car. :)

Found out the Civic WAS making over 300whp.

If I had to guess...My butt-dyno would say Nate (OP) is making about 430rwhp.
(Only using as a comparison to multiple 7M setups I've been in)

All I can say is, his Supra (and even the Civic, I guess) got up to 120mph in a REAL rush........:runaway:

40-120 flew by like it was nothing...Guess it must have been all that torque. ;)

ROFL!! .. is that civic suppose to be fast? lol.. my boys integra makes 300whp on 7lbs of boost and a roll from 40 would see him spinnin the tires til about 80mph in a full bodied built GSR integra... not saying the supra aint fast.. but that civic isnt.. the said integra i was talkin bout makes about 380whp with 17 pounds... and its similar to my friend's turbo hatch.. here is a video of that car

Hello gtimportfanatic,
I really don't care what the hell your boyfriends Honda makes, to be frank.

If you want to play those games about whose penis is bigger,
I made more horsepower at 12psi with an upgraded CT26 than a friend did with a big T78 at 12psi. ....Does that make my car faster than his?

To throw you a bone here,
That civic did a fairly decent job staying with his Supra.
You said that Civic was not fast.

Where are we getting at here?

You sounded pretty excited about your "boys" Honda.......Go buy one?
On that note, I do have a couple friends with Honda's making well beyond 300whp and they certainly have no problems hooking up from a roll.
Ah, the beauty in spending good money on good tires without being a cheap@$$.
