You have to have a better description than that.

A couple words of a song, something more - otherwise it wouldn't be driving you crazy...

What do you mean by 'darker'?

Best guess on what year his famous songs were out.

Songs that have more like apathetic lyrics and what not. I wish i could remember the name of the damn song... I think he released a song not too long ago called the music or something along those lines... but that isn't helpful.

How the hell did you forget David Usher? Moist is from the same city as you!

Moist's bass player was at a gig of mine years ago.

Hmmmm...I wonder how much the SM community knows about Canadian rock? Maybe it's time for some eduationalist thread on the subject.

BTW Sven...David Usher's genre is rock.

Go to HMV....look for David Usher...you'll find it in the rock section....youngin! :)

Actually I never got to meet the bassist as I was on stage. A friend in the crowd was talking to him, said he's a nice guy.

Dude..that's just the tip of the iceberg. My mortgage broker is buddies with Billy Talent, my old bassist was buddies with the bassist from I Mother Earth, my best friend (the dude with the studio I keep telling you to come check out) has built custom guitar effects pedals for the tea Party, Creed and I think that Oshawa band...wtf is the name again? I'll remember it tomorrow. Worked with the barenaked ladies, did live sound for the Tea Party...blah blah blah...it goes on and on and on. I'll tell you about it over a bunch of beers I'll let you buy me sometime.
