Solo Arist - DAVID USHER!

He is decently famous, has had some darker singles, he is a white guy, black hair, had one video of him in an apartment looking out. He sings more of a modern sound, has a normal voice as well, not really rock, more like ambient music.
I know i do not nail it down, but i am taking anything right now, this is driving me insane.

the song style is similar to Seal's Kiss from a Rose, as in it has the sort of darkness to it.

Do you remember any of the lyrics? Sometimes when i hear a song but don't know who its by i google any bit of the lyrics i can remember. usually it comes up with a few different songs and artists- then i go to amazon.com and listen to the tidbit for each of the search results.

Or if you hear it on the radio, go to the radio station's webpage immediately after, they generally have "last song played" dealios now.
