On a supra? It's not like the stock rear is weak. Unless you're building a dedicated drag car that's back halfed and tubbed (and has the power to back up such mods), no worth it.

Worth is relitive...big power or not it will improve drag times and reduce weight!

Too the op...unless you've been building tube frames for awhile then I wouldn't think about tackling this!! You have really got too know how to weld and how too pinpoint stress zones! Last thing you want is your rear Axel too break loose at 100+mph! Slow66 may be able too point you in the right direction as I believe he runs a straight Axel in his drag car....but seriously this is a job for a profeshional not a shady tree mechanic.

I don't have to tub it...I'll install it however you want! :) If its something you're serious about, PM me and we'll talk.

Bryan's car is incredible. I've seen his work, and had him do some custom welding for me in the past (and he's putting a cage in my car next month :naughty:)- he's the man!

Could always go IRS 9" ;)

I might need to do that with the poopra I just put together...dont feel the need to go solid with this one, but I'd like some more gear choices and not have to pray on the transbrake that it will stay together...

Hey slow66 can you pm me an estimate! ? No one by my area wants to tackle this with me.

Its going to depend a TON on the parts you want to use...and I could give you a round-about estimate on labor but nothing concrete.

i just need a ball part figure on labor im guessing it'll be around $500-$600 on parts not including the rear itself.
