I remember you talking about getting one of these a few months or more ago too. What made you want one so badly? I know they are nice cars and all and ya gotta love that awd grip, but compared to a supra they are luxocruisers and will never be anything more. Not raggin on your ride at all here I actually like them a lot. But I see it as beeing more an addition to rather than a substitute for the supra.

They ARE very unique cars. The only thing I hate about them is that when you are sitting in them, to really enjoy having the "windows down", you have to sit kind of low(lol). The top half of the glass just sits there and does nothing...When I first saw my buddies SVX, the windows immediately reminded me of the old Lamborghini's! Congrats and good luck on your Subie.

yep, that and the aftermarket support is non-existent. to fix the mistake that Subaru made with the Auto tranny ONLY option, you could swap in a WRX tranny.

SVX is a nice car except for one problem - the things eat transmissions. To make it worse, you can only buy the trannies from Subaru, they cost a fortune, and they won't warrantee one.

Still, good luck, hope it treats you well.

It's no accident that the SVX's are realatively cheap. I think the potential is there though. Very unique look, awd. Looks like a WRX STI drive-train swap candidate, then you'd have a car! Trading off a Supra's performance for the SVX though...Ah, no!:nono:
