All kidding aside, it would be kind of neat to be able to see the arora borealis all the way down in Mexico. It will suck though that many of our electronics will be affected. Once we are forced to deal with non functioning or poorly functioning devices, we will truly see just how reliant we are on then. 2012 will be an interesting year.:icon_bigg

According to the article I posted, the sun is on an 11 year cycle. So we're at a solar minimum right now but the solar maximum is supposed to be especially large in 2012.
