About 4 months ago I bought Hvyman's 89
1Jz mk3. I have had my eye on this mk3 for some time. She was up for sale first in 2013 but back then I didn't have the cash. So I kept looking around at what I could afford. About 3k or so. Found plenty of 7m cars but they never did tickle my fancy well enough.
So I ended up building my 2003 Toyota Tundra. She started out as my daily with a leveling kit.
And then as time went on she evolved.
That's how she sits right now. Currently have links and am stockpiling parts for her next big surgery.
Pretty much, I had just gotten my tax returns and had about 7k saved up to finish her build. But then I just had to go see what was for sale on the forums..... And She was back up for sale.... So I swooped in and boom! Here I am with my dream car! And my dream truck!
She needs some TLC but I am more than happy to give it to her!
Exterior Plans are fix minor rust and small dings and repaint her. Thinking about going with Balloon White, or Baltic Supra Blue.
Engine wise my HP goal is around 700whp on E85 w/ AEM V2 FLEX fuel. In the next week or so I Will be rebuilding the PTE6262, replacing valve stem seals, adding a DM oil cooler, New water pump, Complete fluid flush, Rebuild & shim the rear diff, and do some heat prevention under the engine bay.
