I am trying to hook up the power brake booster vacuum line from my 91 MKIII to the Soarer 1JZ-GTE. The connection is supposed to be on the end of the intake plenum (from the few pictures I could find), but it is not there on this engine. Is there anywhere else to pull the vacuum for the booster?

You should have a hole if the nipple is not there. Or at least a bolt.
It needs a 3/8 nipple and direct vaccum from the manifold.

There is just a bolt on the end of the manifold. I will pick up a 3/8 inch nipple and plumb it in. Thanks for the help.
No problem. If you found a nipple that just screwed in straight you could route the hose easier as well.
Can't you just steal the bolt/port from a 7M manifold and bolt it to the 1JZ manifold like you can with Aristo 2JZ's?
Yes you could. In fact the bolt is the same for all sorts of models. If it was different for the 1jz than the 7m/2jz that would be very odd.
