Romantic night out. Candles, wine, the whole bit. Some flowers, jewelry, PIITB, cuddle, watch a movie....you know, normal valentines stuff.

thats not the right attitude.

Theres always a chance, the others you see are just as anxious for you to say something as you are for them to do so. So go out on a limb and say something to any of those who spark your interest. Break the ice with that person you see on the way to work, or at that cafe every week, never know.

, just dont call them batman and say you want to take them home and marry them :sarcasm:

Trying to get off work so I can spend at least one, maybe even TWO days with my g/f who lives 50 miles away. :(

I'm lucky to see her 3 times a month. Working weekends blows.

50 miles is a drop in the bucket so to speak. sounds like a nice drive to me. ;) in october of 2005 my b/f moved over 330 miles away...he was gonna be gone for at least a yr, but i got a nice surprise when he came back 7 months after he left (he moved back may of 2006). i was use to having him no more than a 10 min drive away for over a yr before he left. i think the longest we went w/o seeing each other at all while he was gone was 2 months. we talked almost every night if not every night though so that made things a little easier.

who votes valentines day blows!

aka who doesnt have a girl/guy!

i have a man and i still think vday blows. its just a way for companies to make more money. i don't think u should show the person u care for only once a yr how u feel. i think u should try to show them what they mean to u every day even if just in some small way that doesn't require spending money. its the little things that count the most. sometimes its fun to change things up though too. ie: i took my ex of 4.5 yrs out shopping and for dinner for vday yrs ago.
