I paid way to much for my supra. $4100 cash Feb. 2, 2006

Why is $4,100 too much? Our cars are only getting harder and harder to find in good shape. Personally, if it's clean/healthy enough, I'd GLADLY pay $8,000+ for a stock MKIII.

/Topic : Yes! Buy it! If you've got a DD already, use it to get around, and slowly piece everything together. Nothing is better than knowing you've got a project underway that is just screaming for you to get done. :biglaugh:

I would buy it with the mentality that it was going to be stripped to the chassis, blasted/stripped and redone from scratch.

I once bought an 86.5 N/A Automatic with brand new (still had the stickers on them) tires for $500. Those new tire are now on my car and doing great. I parted the car, and made about $1500. And, I'm giving that automatic tranny to MKIII VIXEN for a back up. It was like I bought a set of tires for $500, and the guy just gave me $1500.

Haha, well Im just not sure. If I buy the car and dont part it out, I wont be able to get my A/C fixed on my DD till summer. :(

And if I do buy it, I dont know where I'd keep it. :biglaugh: I live in an apartment complex with pay-per-space parking. But I'd pay about as much to store it so I may just have to buy another permit.

Hopefully (crosses fingers) I'll go drive it Sunday if I'm not too hungover from a wicked St. Patty's Day.:)
