So the other night I am asleep and I am having this dream that I am on the show Pinks. I think it must have been because I saw the previews for the new season or something. Anyway. I have this dream that I am racing My Soup against a Ferrari. I know this is getting wierd. So I lose my car and am awakened by my wife because I was saying No No in my sleep. My point here is that dam show is causing me nightmares. Anyway this is kind of a usless post but I thought we all kind of think the same so mabey it has happened to others and we could form some sort of support group or something. Who else watches this stupid show and would anyone risk their title to be on it.

Haha, funny thing happened to me last week, (as some of you know I had some trouble with my rebuilt motor and had to pull it to get it fixed and then reinstalled it) Well a day or two before I started it for the second time around, I had a dream that I was driving the car for the first time with the new engine, well all was fine until I realized I had forgot to put oil in it before running it.....I woke up in cold sweat!

A similar thing has happened to me, but more or less psychological freak-out since I was awake and alert...... Probably belongs in the "you know you're a supra owner when" thread...
Anyway: I got to work one day, and realized that I forgot to check my oil that morning (as I did every morning). So, I can't concentrate, wondering if it's low, thinking that something could have happened.
Then, of course, I think that I remembered hearing the valve clatter that it had(due to a couple out of spec shims, just a very light ticking really) and thought that the noise was louder than usual.

Long story short, I had to go ask my boss if I could run out to my car for a sec because it was bugging the shit out of me, and of course he asked "Why? What for?" and I had to tell him "To check my oil."

BTW: it was fine. haha

I hope we do get to see something cool on this next season of pinks. I am getting tired of the muscle cars. I would love to see a Soup or a Z or something like that. I was watching Barret Jackson like a month ago and they had some high ranking speed channel guy on and he was saying that in season 2 they are going to have different types of cars on from exotics to muscle cars to sports cars. I would think if we do get to see a soup it would be a mk4 but Im down for that.

i had a dream while in the process in dropping in another motor that i just couldnt wait to take it for a ride, so i started it up with no ECU, no intake, and the motor mounts werent bolted down. the motor was flopping all over as i was driving it around town......

my friend while doing a head gasket had a dream that he took it for a ride without the head and he could see the pistons moving and oil flowing through the motor.

I love those kind of dreams, where it's just absolutely ludicrous that it happened, it makes you wake up with a smile on your face.

Yeah, I had a dream about that show Pinks. It got cancelled and I smiled.

i think when youve had those types of dreams it is an indication that you are a true enthusiast, or are being driven slightely insane by owning and making repairs to this car..

These rebuild dreams are creappy had a dream I was driving the supra one night and remeber my car is currently not in driving condition "no motor under the hood" and I pulled over to turn up the boost on the MBC becasue it just didnt feel right and when I popped the hood it looks like I had a K-series Honda motor under the hood then I woke up and picked up the 7m from the machine shop just to see a K-series sitting right next to it.

I usually have opposite dreams...I dream I'm driving my car, and I smoke everything on the road, then I go home and there's endless parts I've been wanting for months just sitting in my garage and house, and there's a ferrari or a sick truck sitting next to the soup in the driveway...then I wake up and go CRAP!!! why couldnt it have happened!? Then I get depressed and fall back asleep
I would have woken up with a huge sigh of relief in your case, then ran out to the garage just to make sure.

that show is so worthless, 3 races in a 30min time frame, srry but i would rather watch an oak tree grow.
all i have dreams about is wrecking the supra. and it scares the shit out of me.
