For instance my ideal car would be one with a turbo that doesnt hit till 3500-4000 but hits hard. i LOVE that feeling. And the sound..... oh god.
I'f I get the volvo it will be 3 inch straight back.

1. Pending that it runs with a new battery and given the fact that thier is either a transmission problem or engine problem ill give ya 200 dollars.
reply: No, I am sorry but $500. is it and that is without me getting a new battery or it running first. the Car is an excellent car ad worth $1700.00 to $2200.00 in good condition. So, I am sorry but if you can't pay at least that much as is, than thank you but I'm sorry no thank you.
my reply: Charles,
I didnt mean to offend you, I got that number based off a few factors. Thier are a few wagons (I'm impartial to either a wagon or sedan) for sale in good running condition with reasonable exteriors for $500. Yours has a good exterior, but it doesn't run and has what you describe as a "acceleration problem." I'm not a mechanic but fixing the acceleration problem could be anything from a transmission, blown turbo, worn out engine, or a combination of factors. I figure this will cost me at least $500 to fix, plus the cost of a battery (if thats what it takes to get it running). Please show me where I am being unreasonable.
Thanks,
Chris.
reply: I am sorry if I sounded offended, I am not. I just wanted to let you know what I wanted. I do agree that it will take $500+/- to fix and I know that you are factoring that in on your end. But i had recently tried to sell it for $1,200.00 and the same problems (for nothing has changed except my need to get rid of it now). and I got a couple of offers ($500.00 and &750.00 at that time) I know that that is reasonable in price (the offers), I just had put so much more into it already I was willing to sit on it to get the better price. So, since you sound like you want it and I did not mean to offend you, I will let you have it for $400.00 as is if you want it. But I am sorry I can not go less than that.

I LOVE it. he wanted 850 to start, i'v devalued his car enough to have him drop the price by half. I THINK i can get him to 300 and replace the battery. This being said I'm not sure I want to buy this car. he says it's slow to start off, but then runs fine when your going 30-40. I think the tranny isnt shifting into 1st gear.

Chris,
Next weekend is Ok, but as soon as possible is better, anytime during the week and if you can come get it tomorrow I'll give it to you for $350. so you can get the battery.
Yes, it did run when the battery was in it and I used to drive it for the first 3 to 6 months when I first got it and just dealt with the slow pick-up. I would have kept using it, but I own a Toyota Tercel that runs great and does not suck up gas and so the sluggishness just got too annoying.

Damn I'm good. think I can get just a LITTLE more?
